A teacher at heart, Susan earned her Masters Degree and after years of teaching middle school writing, moved on to create a new course in advanced college writing. Her course focused on a variety of topics from the Harry Potter series, by JK Rowling. Teaching as a pastor for 14 years allowed her to curate the words for her own life path.
Many of the characters in these novels contain bits and pieces of her life story. Believe the most outlandish and heartbreaking stories; they really did happen.
Susan has been a lifelong student of scripture and literature and identifies as neither liberal nor conservative, knowing people will evaluate her based on their own perspectives. Labels are confining. Susan is a devoted student of inner peace through morning prayer.
